Tanya De Haan

Bowen therapist, Kinesiologist and Access Bars® practitioner

Tanya De Haan is the founder of See for Shore Wellness, a Bowen Therapy and Kinesiology practice that specialises in taking care of your body’s aches, pains and emotions holistically. Bowen Therapy is a gentle and non-invasive muscle release technique that balances and stimulates the body’s energy flows to provide a deep sense of relaxation and promotes healing.

Her interest in Bowen Therapy and Kinesiology was kindled by her own successful experience in overcoming gastroparesis, a condition that affects the stomach muscles and restricts food digestion.

Tanya is also a certified Access Consciousness® practitioner who teaches and facilitates Access Bars® classes. The Bars® are 32 points on your head which, when gently touched, release anything that doesn’t allow you to receive. These 32 points on your head, when lightly touched, release stored limitations and beliefs in your brain and body that are keeping you stuck and unable to create changes in your life.

Prior to becoming a holistic health practitioner, Tanya was an award-winning graphic designer who worked for several leading Australian newspapers and magazines. Tanya also has a keen interest in acting and played a variety of movie roles over the years. She studied at the Victorian College of the Arts amongst leading Australian actors.

A keen traveller, she has spent time in France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, England, Austria, Germany, Hong Kong and New Zealand.

Tanya is the author of Holistic Happiness. She lives in Melbourne Australia with her husband and three beautiful children, as well as the family dog named Biscuit.
