Christine Litera

International Author, Speaker, Trainer and Human Resources Consultant

Christine is an international author, trusted workforce planner and human resources consultant, a workplace trainer, speaker and world traveller.

Her love for travel fuelled her interest in earning a qualification in travel and commerce. She took her first overseas trip at 18 and became an international flight attendant at the age of 25; she has been travelling and consulting ever since. After leaving the travel industry, Christine entered the field of human resources almost by chance after working a temporary assignment at Price Waterhouse Coopers, in London.

The job was scheduled to last one week, but turned into a career when they asked her to stay, offering her development in human resources and recruiting. During her highly distinguished career in HR, Christine has worked with Bluechip companies and professional services firms including Price Waterhouse Coopers, Deloitte, AMP, Optus/Alphawest and Suncorp.

As the founder and CEO of Chrysallis Consulting, Christine works with small to medium-sized enterprises managing human resources functions and corporate change across their organizations. She counts among her list of satisfied clients, industries including Trades, Accounting and Finance, FMCG, Fashion, Engineering, Construction, Consulting, Training Organisations, Franchisors and Government.

She is also a qualified trainer within the Vocational Education and Training sector, delivering qualifications in business, management and training and assessment. Christine is also an accomplished speaker. She has presented at the Australian Human Resources (AHRI) annual conference on behalf of its main sponsor, Tourism Australia, in support of their business to business campaign.

Among her many professional affiliations, Christine is a Certified Professional Member of the Australian Human Resources Institute (CAHRI) and an enthusiastic networker, with membership in BforB.

She has travelled and worked in over 30 countries such as the United Kingdom, the United States, the South Pacific, Egypt, South Africa, South Korea and the Demilitarized Zone, Japan, Vietnam, Hong Kong, France, Italy, Cyprus, Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Greece, just to name a few. Christine Litera is the author of “Grow Your People Grow Your Business” – Big Corporate Secrets for Small Business Budgets.

She lives on the Gold Coast with her husband and daughter.
