Jacqui Christie

Author, clinical psychologist, family violence specialist, relationship expert, and public speaker.

With more than 20 years of experience mediating family disputes and working with men who were violent, abusive, or controlling in their relationships, Jacqui enjoys helping men and women empower themselves. During her career she has counselled, coached, trained, and empowered thousands of people from all walks of life, including CEOs of major corporations, entrepreneurs, blue-collar workers, models, and actors.

In addition to speaking about family violence and women’s personal development at events and seminars, she has been featured as a relationship expert in Cleo Magazine, Women’s Health Magazine, Girlfriend Magazine, and on several television shows.

Jacqui’s formal training includes a master’s degree in psychology and additional clinical psychology study to earn her clinical registration. She is also an accredited Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT) Level I Therapist, a qualified Family Law Court Mediator, and a Clinical Hypnotist. She is proud to have survived a significant childhood trauma to become the first person in her family to attend university. Jacqui also takes pride in having completed her education while also being a wife and raising two children.

Jacqui has also enjoyed an acting career, having made appearances in live theatre, in the television shows including Prisoner, The Sullivans, and Skyways, as well as in the movie Water Under the Bridge. Her professional associations include the Australian Psychological Association, the College of Counselling Psychologists, the Psychology Board of Australia, and World Vision.

She has travelled and worked throughout Scotland, England, Wales, Italy, France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, the United States of America, Singapore, Malaysia and Yemen.
