Scott Wescombe
Author, Entrepreneur, Physiotherapist, Trainer, and Public Speaker
Scott is an author, coach, entrepreneur, physiotherapist, certified body trainer and public speaker. Having grown up in the family health business, Scott has worked for more than a decade in the health and fitness industry, owning and operating several health-related businesses over the years. Eager to make a mark in his field, he opened his first physiotherapy practice immediately after earning his Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science and his Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy with first class honours. In addition to his university degrees, Scott is a certified Strategic Life Coach, certified Les Mills Body Trainer and holds a Diploma of Exercise Science and Fitness Management as well as a Certificate 3 and Certificate 4 in Fitness. He has used his formal training and industry experience to coach other health business owners and as a guest lecturer for Sports Medicine Australia.
Currently the owner of Happy Physio, Scott runs on sheer drive and relentless vision. His love for fitness and his competitive nature goes back to his childhood where he spent countless hours watching his father coach runners and sprinters. An athletic superstar in his own right, Scott broke multiple state junior records. In addition to playing basketball, he played football in the AFL National U/18 Championships. He also played for the Subiaco Football Club in the WAFL.
Scott’s professional associations include the Australian Physiotherapy Association and Sports Medicine Australia.
He has traveled and worked throughout New Zealand, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, UAE, France, Italy, Croatia, Montenegro, the United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, Canada, the United States, Mexico, Germany, Greece and Turkey.
