Yaro Starak is an Australian internet marketer, blogger and owner of the website Entrepreneurs-Journey.com, a blog about entrepreneurship, internet marketing, selling information online and personal development. Yaro has been creating, buying and selling internet assets since 1998. He teaches people how to make a full-time income from blogging part time through his Blog Mastermind coaching program and how to launch online membership sites through his Membership Site Mastermind course.
Yaro began a Business Management degree in 1998 at the University of Queensland, Brisbane, from which he graduated in 2001. During his university days he discovered an interest in Magic: The Gathering, a popular trading card game. As his passion for the game deepened he set up a number of hobby sites devoted to it, his most popular being MTGParadise. He credits his work on building and managing the site as the place he gained a wealth of technical and online marketing skills and experience. Yaro decided to sell the MTGParadise site in 2004 for $13,000.
In his 3rd year at university Yaro created BetterEdit, an online proofreading and editing service. The business continued to be successful over a number of years and at the end of 2004, on recommendation of a close friend, Ed Chalmers, Yaro installed a blog for the site, to help with search engine optimisation. After a short while Yaro realised that he was more interested in blogging about internet business than writing essays and academic education, which gave him the idea to create the Entrepreneurs-Journey blog.
Yaro started his Entrepreneurs-Journey blog in early 2005 and says it was a pivotal point for him because at the time he was barely making enough money to live independently. His blog, which makes over $20,000 a month and has over 100,000 subscribers, is a chronicle of his journey to transform his life and increase his income. Since starting the blog, Yaro has created and released a number of successful membership sites including Blog Mastermind, Become A Blogger (with Gideon Shalwick) and Membership Site Mastermind.
